We are sad to announce that our dear friend, Anne McKinnon has passed away.  Anne and Malcolm are both elders in Moncreiff and Anne was our church secretary for a time.  Please remember Malcolm and Stuart in your prayers.  

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS for Douglas Johnston - Thurs, 17 Sept at 2pm in Calderglen Church then 3pm at Phillipshill Cemetery.  

KIRK SESSION next meet on Tues, 15 Sept at 7.15pm following prayers at 6.45pm.

FOCUS GROUPS: We will begin a 6 week autumn series on Colossians on 27 Sept. Discussion questions are available in vestibule or from the church office.  Also available to download from the church website.  John Collard

GIRLS’ BRIGADE are looking for PVG'd helpers on a Wednesday evening, 6.30-8pm in Heathery Knowe Primary. If anyone is interested, please speak to Fiona Johnston or Eleanor Duffy. Thank you.

COFFEE MORNING on Sat, 19 Sept in aid of Kilbryde Hospice (10am-12 noon).

Home baking and raffle prizes would be appreciated.  Tickets on sale today £2.

EKIN VOLUNTEER REQUEST:  We are reaching out to our church supporters to ask for help please. We need someone to support our weekly football session at KPark.  This is so important for the people we support, and is the highlight of the week for many. Our previous volunteer coach moved on to a coaching job, which means we are in desperate need of someone to help us. You don't need coaching experience, but just to be willing to turn up and support our guys.  Please note - this is on a weekday afternoon so would not suit anyone working those hours. 2026 MACMILLAN ANNUAL COFFEE MORNING will be on Sat, 3 Oct from 10.00am till 12 noon.  Admission is still only £3 so please bring your friends to join us as we raise funds for this worthwhile charity - your support makes all the difference!  Irene Ferguson, Thea Fleming or Janey Hendry will have tickets.  We would welcome donations of wine/sweets/biscuits for our Raffle/Auction and home baking will be gratefully received on the day.  We are also looking for some new volunteers to join our team of helpers.  We plan to set up the sanctuary on Fri, 2 Oct (time tbc) and all helpers will be welcomed, especially strong ones!  As a few of our regular helpers are stepping down this year, we would also like some extra volunteers to pour tea/coffee or help with our Raffle and Auction.  Please speak to Irene, Thea or Janey if you can offer any help to make this event a success.  Thank you.  Patricia and Jim Leslie

AUTUMN HOLIDAY CLUB will be on Tues, 13 Oct (10:00-12:00). The club is for kids P1-7 and is free of charge.  Please see noticeboard for details/QR code to register.

PVG: Disclosure Scotland Legislation now requires that any Calderglen Parish member who is visiting a care home (even as part of a worship group) now needs to hold the relevant PVG. Please speak to Ishbel Campbell if this includes you!
