Sad to say we learned of the death of Agnes McGowan of Caithness Road. Please remember her family in your prayers.
Please also remember the family of Ann Pollock who died earlier this week.

SEARCHLIGHT THEATRE are bringing Return to the Hiding Place, the story of Corrie Ten Boom, to Clincarthill Parish Church on Sat, 3 Oct at 7.30pm. For tickets (priced £7) contact office@clincarthill.org.uk.
AUTUMN HOLIDAY CLUB will be on Tues, 13 Oct (10am-12noon). The club is for kids P1-7 and is free of charge. See noticeboard for details/QR code to register.
EKIN VOLUNTEER REQUEST: We are reaching out to our church supporters to ask for help please. We need someone to support our weekly football session at KPark. This is so important for the people we support, and is the highlight of the week for many. Our previous volunteer coach moved on to a coaching job, which means we are in desperate need of someone to help us. You don't need coaching experience, but just to be willing to turn up and support our guys. Please note - this is on a weekday afternoon so would not suit anyone working those hours. 2026 MACMILLAN ANNUAL COFFEE MORNING on Sat, 3 Oct 10am till 12 noon. Admission £3. See Irene, Thea or Janey for tickets. Donations of Raffle/Auction prizes and home baking will be gratefully received on the day. Looking for some new volunteers to set up the sanctuary on Fri, 2 Oct (time tbc) and to pour tea/coffee. We are looking for someone to look after the first aid boxes and keep them updated. If you think you can help with this please speak to Helen Cuthbertson.
CRAFT SUPPLIES: We're seeking donations of any leftover scraps of brightly coloured fabric, felt and knitting yarn for our work in Mount Cameron Primary, supporting the pupils with crafts. Any materials can be handed to Claire Johnston, Valerie Stewart or Jean MacDonald.
PVG: Disclosure Scotland Legislation now requires that any Calderglen Parish member who is visiting a care home (even as part of a worship group) now needs to hold the relevant PVG. Please speak to Ishbel Campbell if this includes you!
